Catalog description

The earth in space, its atmosphere, oceans and the development of landforms by geologic agents. The course objective is to develop awareness of the physical processes that have and will shape the earth and of humanity’s effect on these processes. PHYS 100-L Earth Science Laboratory. 1 hour. Introduction to igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks and minerals. Principles and interpretation of geologic and topographic maps. Introduction to fossils.
