Catalog description

This course provides an in-depth examination of emergency response strategies and operations within the context of emergency services management and leadership. Students will explore the principles, protocols, and best practices associated with effective emergency response to various incidents, including natural disasters, technological hazards, and public safety emergencies. The course emphasizes the importance of coordination among multiple agencies and stakeholders, the role of the Incident Command System (ICS), and the development of effective communication and decision-making strategies during crises.
