Prerequisites: EDUC 205, EDUC 207, EDUC 302 and formal admission to the teacher education program. Must be taken prior to student teaching. A methods course that prepares students to teach secondary social studies. Course will include a study of the social studies curriculum at the middle school and high school levels, lesson 239 planning, simulation games, value clarification, inquiry approach to teaching, materials and textbooks. Offered fall semester.
