Prerequisite: CHEM 107. A discussion of drug classes and thorough investigation of the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of drug class representatives with emphasis on the therapeutics and toxicology in health and diseased states. Covers the basic concepts for monitoring, evaluating and optimizing drug therapy for clients across the lifespan in a variety of settings.
