Catalog description
This course explores the medical needs and challenges of specific patient groups including pediatric, geriatric, LGBTQIA, disabled people, and other underserved groups. Students will explore a variety of health needs and health systems issues that are important in the care of specific patient populations. Students will adapt their patient assessment techniques to the developmental, functional, and educational level of diverse patient populations. Fall II - Phase I.
