Catalog description

This course focuses on psychosocial issues of health and provides an overview of behavioral, psychological, and social sciences related to health and illness. Students receive instruction on providing culturally-sensitive care to individuals from multiple ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. This course aims to expand the professional physician assistant’s psychosocial considerations during patient assessment and treatment. Fall II - Phase I.
