This course is designed to provide formal structure and support to develop a written research proposal. In this course, students will: research a specific topic; conduct and write a literature review, compose a problem statement and research question, design research methodology, and submit an Institutional Review Board (IRB) application. The course concludes with oral dissemination of proposal progress to solicit formative feedback from peers and faculty - 3 lecture hours. Prerequisite: OT 6121.
