Catalog description

This introductory course in a three-semester series will engage students in developing their professional identity through engagement in reflective practices to promote self-awareness and skills in occupational balance, self-care, and professional communication. This course will also provide students with an evidence-informed understanding of the behaviors that underlie success in both the academic program and professional practice. Students will build a professional identity development plan and engage in reflective journaling to document their growth - 1 lecture hour. Prerequisites: Admission in the accelerated MS in OT program.
