Secondary Prep Sup Teaching

Catalog description

This course develops an understanding of school culture and adolescent development while preparing candidates for the demands of a teaching career. It explores the essential knowledge and skills required for effective secondary teaching and learning as defined by the California Teaching Performance Expectations (TPEs). Concurrently, candidates participate in fieldwork experiences to apply their developing understandings of teaching and learning.
