Catalog description
In this course students acquire the practical knowledge and skills needed to write professionally in media and in strategic communication environments. Students gain hands-on experience writing for print, social, and broadcast media. They learn AP style and critically examine the production and consumption side of media. Students create a variety of strategic content for public relations, advertising, marketing, and business communication, which they archive in their digital portfolio.
