Catalog description
This course addresses the theories and principles that help organizations develop effective strategic thinking. Students explore the role of communication in shaping and understanding the complex systems and cultures that constitute organizations. They critically examine the ethical issues and potential problems important in an organization’s communication practices. Group dynamics, leadership, decision-making and culture are some of the focal points studied in an evolving communication environment.
