Catalog description
This course is focused on the fundamental principles and theories of chemistry with special emphasis on chemical calculations. Topics include atomic structure, gases, kinetic-molecular theory, periodicity and bonding, chemical thermodynamics etc. - 3 lecture hours. Recommended only for students for whom this is a major or minor requirement. CHEM 2000/CHEM 2005 are CORE Equivalent Courses which may be substituted for the Science for Global Citizens CORE requirement. Co-requisite: CHEM 2005
