Catalog description
Topics to be studied will include: Mendelian genetics, gene linkages, sex determination, chemistry and structure of genes, chemical nature of mutations, population genetics, molecular genetics and biotechnology - 3 lecture hours. Prerequisite: BIO 1100/BIO 1105 with a grade of ‘C-’ (1.7) or better. Co-requisite: BIO 2805
