Catalog description

This course investigates the evolutionary history of biodiversity with an emphasis on plant and animal form and function. Students will utilize microscopes as well as live organisms to perform experiments - 3 lecture hours. Recommended only for students for whom this is a required course and those interested in a pre-health professional program. BIO 1000/BIO 1005 are CORE Equivalent Courses which may be substituted for the Science for Global Citizens CORE requirement. Co-requisite: BIO 1005
