As a mental performance consultant, a primary aspect of a practitioner's role is to teach. However, prior to content delivery, the consultant must focus on engagement and connection with the individual or group. In this professional development workshop, the student will learn how to develop content (planned or impromptu) and how to deliver it effectively, so the audience walks away with the intended take-home message. The heart of this workshop will be learning about and practicing essential presentation skills, for example, effective voice volume, pace, eye contact, physical stance, and gestures as well as managing one's own performance anxiety. This is a Pass/No Pass course.
