Catalog description

The Applied Performance Project is a sequence of courses students take each semester throughout their time in the program. The project provides space for students to create elements that may include developing elevator speeches and definitions of sport and performance psychology, a comprehensive literature review, a portfolio of academic and applied work, a philosophy of practice, a professional website, a resumé, creating social media and LinkedIn profiles, and templates of professional practice documents. The culmination of the project will be to present the student's philosophy of practice at the annual DUC Scholarly and Creative Works conference and conduct a mock job interview with a panel of experts. This is a Pass/No Pass course.
