Catalog description

This course introduces students to the history, research, and main theoretical approaches relevant to sport and performance psychology. The course provides an overview of the principles and methods of sport and performance psychology as well as the cognitions, emotions, behaviors, and resulting outcomes of team and individual participants. It introduces students to the concept of theory to applied practice with demonstrations of mental skills training and techniques.
