Catalog description
Students are introduced to the medium of ceramics through both hand-building and wheel throwing. Students will learn the technical processes involved and basic glaze and clay chemistry will also be covered. These techniques will be explored in the context of historical and contemporary art conversations. Students will engage in making and research in these pursuits. **Additional fee applies.**
