Catalog description

Taken at the Senior first semester, this personal/professional development seminar is designed to further personal/professional ideas and concepts towards an intentional creative inquiry that culminates into a body of work for the Signature Work Thesis Exhibition in the spring. Class conversations will provide students with critical feedback as they create their work for the exhibition, and activities will support students' ability to articulate the ideas, context, and intention that underlie their creative work. Students continue to contribute to their 'Signature Work' tab in their digital portfolio and develop an artist statement and the rough concepts around their thesis statement.
