Catalog description

In this course students establish a solid foundation for visual thinking and artistic expression in the photography realm. Guided by the principles of art and design, students will develop key conceptual and technical skills for creating original artwork. Thematic In-class assignments are designed to sequentially build skills and become conceptually more complex. In their assignments students will create artwork using photography and lens based media, processes, and conceptual approaches. Art assignments involve hands on making as well as practice and research assignments that emphasize creative and critical thinking processes used in artistic expression. **Additional fee applies.**
