Catalog description
This course first acquaints the student with the principles of plant taxonomy and the descriptive language necessary to discuss plants accurately. It then goes on to introduce 240 species of perennials, interior plants, vine, ground covers, and succulents for California's low elevation deserts. Each plant is covered with respect to its identification, growth habits, culture, use, and pests. (C-ID AG-EH 108L)
