Intermediate Writing II

Catalog description

(Formerly ESL/ELL 044) This course aims at the development of high intermediate writing skills following ELL 034 (Intermediate Writing I). This course is designed for students who can write unified, well-supported paragraphs and short essays with a few errors that affect readers' comprehension. Within the course, students learn how to recognize and produce academic essays for different purposes. Successful completion of this course enables students to take developmental English and college level English classes in the future. It is recommended that students take this course together with other ELL courses of at least 030 level.
