s Costa, Sutch This course introduces students to the fundamentals of directing for the stage including identifying one’s creative sources as a director, working with actors, analyzing a play text for the stage, learning basic blocking principles, and fostering a productive director-designer relationship. The course culminates in a public performance of contemporary scenes directed by the students. Satisfies the Visual and Performing Arts requirement. Satisfies Theatre major requirement. Prerequisites & Notes Theatre 245 (Fall)
