Catalog description

Lectures and field trips focusing on some of the pressing problems faced by contemporary India and institutions that address those problems. Topics include the environment, the status of women, implications of the population explosion, economic conditions, and the political process. Satisfies the cultural diversity requirement. Prerequisites & Notes Offered as part of the Semester-in-India program.
