Catalog description
This course introduces a critical approach to examining the social construction of gender and sexuality. It explores several different perspectives on gender inequality and the role of social institutions such as family, education, economy, and media in creating the experience of gender and sexuality in society. Satisfies Gender and Sexuality Studies major and minor requirement. Satisfies Communication Studies major and minor requirement. Satisfies the Social-Scientific Thought requirement. Satisfies the Justice, Equality, and Community requirement.
