Catalog description

Students will learn methods of data collection and analysis used for qualitative inquiry in psychological research (focus on human sexuality). Approaches may include thematic analysis, phenomenology, and narrative analysis. Ethical and practical issues in conducting research on personal and socially sensitive subjects discussed. Course requirements include participation in research as investigators. Prerequisites & Notes PSY 200 or permission of instructor. PSY 235 recommended but not required.
