Catalog description

Overview of the research methods and statistical techniques used in research in clinical and positive psychology through lecture, laboratory, and independent research projects. Students gain knowledge and experience evaluating psychological research and applying these techniques and methods to complete individual research projects. Ethical and practical considerations in research in clinical and positive psychology discussed. Course requirements include participation in research as investigators. Recommended completion by Fall of senior year for majors. Satisfies Public Health major and minor requirement. Prerequisites & Notes PSY 200 required. PSY 231 and/or PSY 234 recommended but not required
