Analysis of the existential conditions of human life, such as death, the fragility and finiteness of life, freedom, commitment, the need for God, and the quest for meaning, worth, and dignity. Readings are from both philosophy and literature. Counts as an elective for the Philosophy major and minor. Satisfies the Philosophical and Religious Perspectives requirement.
