Catalog description

In this course, we will examine some of the moral challenges that arise in the relationship between medical practitioners and patients; the moral assumptions that underlie our conceptions of health, disease, and disability; and the moral principles that should structure our research practices. Counts as an elective for the Philosophy major. Satisfies the Philosophical and Religious Perspectives requirement. Counts as a core course in the Public Health interdisciplinary minor. Counts as an elective in the Neuroscience interdisciplinary minor.
