Drumming involves learning techniques for the Djembe and Dundun drums of Guinea, Mali, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, and the Senegambia region of West Africa. Weekly sessions incorporate an oral tradition teaching style that includes drumming and cultural background information. No previous drumming experience is required.
