Pit Ensemble

Catalog description

This ensemble serves as the pit for the biennial musical (produced collaboratively by the Theatre and Music Departments) and for other fully staged music productions sponsored by the Music Department. The ensemble instrumentation will vary from production to production depending on the requirements of the score. The ensemble will rehearse once weekly up to production week and will participate fully in the multiple rehearsals during production week and through the run of the show. Satisfies Music major and minor requirement, upon completion of 2 semesters. Prerequisites & Notes Requires 2 semesters of participation for to earn credit.
