Catalog description
Explores the dimensions of creative and innovative tactical leadership strategies and styles by examining team dynamics and historical leadership theories that form the basis of the Army leadership framework. Students practice aspects of personal motivation and team building in the context of planning, executing, and assessing team exercises and participating in leadership labs. Includes instruction in troop leading procedures, tactical movement, battle drills, and offensive and defensive operations. Prerequisites & Notes MIL 101, which can be taken concurrently. Participation in leadership lab is required (various locations - transportation provided). There is no military obligation to take this course, open to all Davidson students. (Fall) Not for credit
