Foundations of Leadership

Catalog description

Overview of leadership fundamentals such as setting direction, problem-solving, listening, presenting briefs, providing feedback, and using effective writing skills. Students explore dimensions of leadership attributes and core leader competencies in the context of practical, hands-on, and interactive exercises. Includes instruction in basic tactics. Prerequisites & Notes Participation in leadership lab is required. There is no military obligation to take this course, open to all Davidson students. (Spring) Not for credit
