Topics include normal subgroups, quotient groups, homomorphisms, Cayley’s theorem, permutation groups, ideals, the field of quotients of an integral domain, and polynomial rings. Prerequisites & Notes Mathematics 150 and one of Mathematics 220, 230, or 255. (Fall)
