Mathematical properties of the integers and related sets, including divisibility properties, prime numbers and their distribution, congruences, diophantine equations, arithmetic functions, primitive roots, and quadratic residues. Satisfies the Mathematical and Quantitative Thought requirement. Prerequisites & Notes CSC/MAT 220 or MAT 230 Not open to students with credit for MAT 255.
