An introduction to systems of linear equations, matrices, determinants, vector spaces, and eigenvectors in an interactive learning environment provided by the computer algebra system Mathematica. Applications are chosen from linear programming, least squares approximation, graph theory, cryptography, computer graphics, and other topics. Satisfies the Mathematical and Quantitative Thought requirement. Prerequisites & Notes MAT 113 or placement above MAT 113
