An introduction to the differential and integral calculus of algebraic, trigonometric, exponential, and applications including graphical analysis, optimization, and numerical methods. An emphasis on investigating mathematical approaches to describing and understanding change in the context of problems in the life sciences. Satisfies the Mathematical and Quantitative Thought requirement. Prerequisites & Notes No exposure to calculus is expected Math 112 is not open for students with credit for Math 111
