Advanced Studies in Humanities II

Catalog description

This is the required course for the spring Humanities Fellows, who are selected during the spring of the previous academic year. This course meets with HUM 104 as well as another course period during the week. In 2026-2027, HUM 104 meets TR 9:40-10:55 AM and R 3:05-4:20 PM. Therefore HUM 196 meets during those three 75-minute class sessions as well as T 3:05-4:20 PM. The seminar follows the syllabus for HUM 104, except with separate written assignments and a final essay at the end of the semester.
