Advanced Studies in Humanities

Catalog description

This is the required course for the fall Humanities Fellows, who are selected during the spring of the previous academic year. This course meets with HUM 103 as well as another course period during the week. In 2026-2027, HUM 103 meets TR 9:40-10:55 AM and R 3:05-4:20 PM. Therefore HUM 195 meets during those three 75-minute class sessions as well as T 3:05-4:20 PM. The seminar follows the syllabus for HUM 103, except with separate written assignments and a final essay at the end of the semester. Prerequisites & Notes Instructor permission required.
