Students in HIS 454 will work collaboratively to research, write, and produce a documentary film about some aspect of the U.S. South’s history, guided by an instructional team that includes both the course professor and two aspiring filmmakers from the Documentary Film Program at Wake Forest University. Satisfies a requirement in the History major and minor. Counts as an elective for the Film and Media Studies interdisciplinary minor. Satisfies the Justice, Equality, and Community requirement.
