Overview of German literature since 1989, with particular emphasis on prose fiction and popular literature. Authors discussed include: Günter Grass, Judith Hermann, Florian Illies, Daniel Kehlmann, and Juli Zeh, among others. Taught in German. Satisfies the Literary Studies, Creative Writing, and Rhetoric requirement. Prerequisites & Notes German 202 or permission of the instructor.
