A survey of the field of machine learning, with an applied introduction to the fundamental algorithms in the field. Topics include techniques for regression, classification, ensemble methods, and dimensionality reduction. Satisfies Data Science minor requirement. Satisfies Math and Quantitative Thought requirement. Prerequisites & Notes Requires comprehension of basic probability and statistics, and prior programming experience with a language like python, R or Java.
