Catalog description

Extensive reading and discussion of difficult texts, exposure to authentic Chinese materials, emphasis on expanding vocabulary, speaking and writing skills, and skills that will help further develop proficiency in Chinese. Continuation of Chinese 301. Prerequisites & Notes CHI 301 or the equivalent. Satisfies a requirement for the Chinese Language and Literature major. Counts as an elective in the Chinese Studies minor. Counts as an elective in the East Asian Studies major and minor. Satisfies the Foreign Language requirement.
