Catalog description
Evolutionary ecology examines how the abiotic and biotic environment shape evolutionary dynamics, which in turn can influence the environment that an organism experiences. Students will gain an understanding of these dynamics through the reading and discussion of foundational and contemporary reviews and studies, informal lectures, and a written assignment. Satisfies a major and minor requirement in Biology. Satisfies a major and minor requirement in Environmental Studies. Prerequisites & Notes Successful completion of BIO 111/113 and 112/114 OR ENV 201.
