Modern Architecture: Movements, Myths, and Manifestoes

In this course students will analyze the structural innovations, stylistic trends, and design philosophies behind architectural movements throughout the twentieth century. The course will consider the contributions of well-known modernists and their often-overlooked peers and collaborators, both in the U.S. and around the world. Satisfies the Visual and Performing Arts requirement.
