Methods in Forensic Anthropology

Catalog description

This course concerns forensic taphonomy, the study of postmortem and postdepositional processes that occur in human and non-human animals in the medicolegal context. Students will design research projects on the decomposition process in piglets, and learn to collect, analyze, interpret, and present data. One of the courses satisfying the Methods requirement for the major and minor in Anthropology. Prerequisites & Notes (Offered in alternating years.)
