Catalog description

Issues of development and sustainability from the standpoint of environmental anthropology and anthropological approaches to development theory. Considers the human face of development, including local and global scales of analysis, environmental justice, and discourses of community sustainability. Satisfies a major & minor requirement in Anthropology. Satisfies the Social-Scientific Thought requirement. Satisfies depth and breadth course requirement in the Social Science track of the Environmental Studies major or interdisciplinary minor. Prerequisites & Notes (offered in alternating years.)
