This course is designed to introduce the student to abdominal organs and superficial structures. Content includes the function, physiology, and sonographic appearances of normal abdominal organs and superficial structures, associated laboratory testing, and common clinical indications of abdominal and superficial sonographic examinations. This course includes 4 on campus lecture hours per week.
