Catalog description
This course introduces the principles and practices of effective customer service across a variety of business settings. Topics include factors that shape customer satisfaction and engagement, including organizational culture, leadership support, and the alignment of service behaviors with business goals. Emphasis is placed on developing professional communication skills, applying service strategies to diverse customer situations, and understanding how technology supports service interactions. The course also examines the role of hospitality in creating positive service experiences, highlighting how hospitality principles enhance customer comfort, trust, and loyalty.
