Provides experience in applying history in a previously approved museum, historical society, archive, center, organization, or government setting. Application and credit arrangements should be made through the department in advance, normally by mid-semester prior to the internship. Credit will be applied toward upper-level American history or World history requirements depending on nature of the appointment. Graded on a satisfactory/unsatisfactory basis. Repeatable for a maximum of 6 credit hours. Prerequisite: 30 semester hours and permission of instructor.
